Sorry if you turned in a add request today I will add it 7-09-08 I took a family day off and am just answering on the forum before I go to bed. I have been spending way to much time on the computer the last week that my family wonders what I look like since all they see is the back of my head.

I didn't expect the site to take off as fast as it did. Being one person and adding all the links and making all the images has been time consuming. Don't get me wrong I am so excited to see so many people who care about birds.

My plan for this site was to net work with others. Have a listing so people can find breeders, hobby breeders, products and rescues. I want to be able to help everyone find that right bird. Share experiences and ideas. Also I guess my big driving point is to be a good place to go for that person thinking of getting a bird or who has just gotten a bird. I have seen so many birds on Craigslist because someone has gotten the bird and realize they don't want to take the time for the bird. Makes me really sad to see so many birds needing to find new homes. Not that sometimes we get a bird that doesn't fit in our family, and it is better to find a more fitting home for the bird. Each bird has their own personality as we all know. But if people have a place to go like this maybe we won't see so many being put up in the papers or to people who also don't know anything about birds leading the poor bird into a long life of new forever homes.

I am planning to put a search by state, city on the site soon. I just have to get caught up on everything and find some extra time to improve the site.
So there are lots of ideas and I thank everyone for understanding that it is one person putting everything in place.
